Vivienda Particular en Mafra

The building located in a plot with a noticeable incline allowed them to build the second lower floor which impressively raises the building over the landscape. One of the more relevant items of the project is the strong character they wanted to stamp on the façade which stands out over the green meadows surrounding the building.

The white colour of the façade plasterwork in the 2 main structures is crossed by a third structure, using Polyrey phenolic compact façades, decisive to create a material contrast. For this purpose, the architect used reference C034 Cuivre Oxydé which gave a realistic effect of true aged and weathered rusty metal to the exterior skin of this structure emphasing the counterpoint with the pure white on the rest of the façade.

The technical features and performance of Polyrey Façades: Strength and durability, its ease of machining and application were decisive as it is a product especially designed for exterior applications adding a highly protective surface resistant to ultraviolet radiation (UV) and ensuring an excellent behaviour against inclement weather and differences in climate conditions. On the other hand, thanks to its excellent thermal resistance, Polyrey Façades  is the ideal product for building ventilated façades, a building system used where the air flow chamber created between the cladding and the isolation allows the optimisation of the building’s thermal performance, thereby reducing power consumption, CO2 emissions and ensuring, due to its watertightness, a very good protection of the building exterior structure against rain and inclement weather.
