Wagener Gallery Bar - Germany

The bar, centrally located on the first floor of the shopping centre, had to stand out without any signage. The surrounding shops each have their own colour scheme and interior design. For these reasons, the bar must have a well thought-out design to attract passers-by. Rottman Architects therefore chose to use Polyrey solution-dyed HPL in B170 Blanc Absolu.
 
The square-shaped bar is clad in Monochrom HPL® B170. The purity of this solution-dyed white creates clean lines with no visible edges. The gloss finish used on this white colour reinforces the island bar effect. To add an extra dimension to the overall effect, the Epimat finish was used for the vertical fronts of the bar.
 
Given the intensive use of the horizontal plane, the longevity and robustness of the material used was also a decisive choice criterion. Monochrom HPL® was chosen for its high resistance to heat, scratches and impact. What's more, for the catering sector, this product is available with an antibacterial "Sanitized" treatment as standard.
