Founded over 120 years ago, Polyrey is a long-standing company in the Périgord region. The integration of the Ussel site in the 70s further strengthened its presence in France. Since then, Polyrey has continued to develop and adapt to changes in the market and its customers, with a real openness to international markets. L’objectif de ce Graduate Program est d’attirer les jeunes talents en externe qui ont vocation à devenir les cadres de demain. Polyrey's history in detail

The company was originally founded by the Rey family in 1898, with its first factory in Couze, Dordogne. Initially, the company specialized in the production of tannin, extracted from chestnut wood, for leather tanning. In 1929, the company converted to the production of cellulose, used in the manufacture of paper pulp and cardboard. In 1956, the company decided to manufacture high-pressure decorative laminate on a large scale, an elegant and functional material that captured the imagination of designers and consumers alike to recreate post-war interiors in the Fifties and Sixties.

The Polyrey brand and company were founded in 1956, as part of the Aussedat Rey group, a paper manufacturer. In 1972, a second plant was built in Ussel, Corrèze, dedicated to the production of melamine-coated particleboard, enabling the expansion of a wider range of decorative solutions.

In the 90s, Polyrey launched the concept of "complementarity": the availability of the same decors and finishes in laminate, compact and melamine, giving professionals the flexibility to optimize project costs with the right products, without compromising on design quality or aesthetics.

Today, Polyrey employs 650 people in Europe, with headquarters in Baneuil (France) and a strong sales presence throughout Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

A l’origine, la société est fondée par la famille Rey en 1898, avec une première usine à Couze, en Dordogne. Au départ, l’entreprise est spécialisée dans la production du tanin, extrait du bois de châtaignier, pour le tannage du cuir. En 1929, la société se reconvertit dans la production de cellulose, utilisée dans la fabrication de la pâte à papier et du carton. En 1956, la société décide de fabriquer à grande échelle du stratifié décoratif haute pression, un matériau élégant et fonctionnel qui a captivé l'imagination des designers et des consommateurs pour récréer les intérieurs dans l'après-guerre des années cinquante et soixante.

La marque et la société Polyrey ont été fondées en 1956, et faisaient partie du groupe Aussedat Rey : fabricant de papier. En 1972, une deuxième usine a été construite à Ussel en Corrèze, dédiée à la production de panneaux de particules mélaminés, permettant l'expansion d’un plus large éventail de solutions décoratives.

Dans les années 90, Polyrey a lancé le concept de «complémentarité» : la disponibilité des mêmes décors et finitions en stratifié, compact et mélaminé donnant aux professionnels la flexibilité nécessaire pour optimiser le coût des projets avec les produits appropriés, sans compromis sur la qualité de la conception ou sur l'esthétique.

Aujourd'hui, Polyrey compte 650 collaborateurs en Europe, avec un siège social à Baneuil (France) et une forte présence commerciale dans toute l'Europe, au Moyen Orient et en Afrique du Nord.
